This policy explains what happens to personal data on playersdepot.com. This is our company site: it presents our network of game portals and lets advertisers get in touch. No games are played here and no advertising is served here.
Each game portal in the network has its own privacy policy, which applies when you are on that site. This policy does not cover them.
Who is responsible
The operator of playersdepot.com is the controller for the data described below. You can reach us at our contact page for anything in this policy, including requests about your data.
What we collect and why
1. What you send through the contact form
Company, your name, work email, what you are interested in and your message. We use it only to answer your enquiry and to keep a record of the conversation. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and, where it leads somewhere, taking steps before a contract.
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the submission comes from a person and not a script. Cloudflare receives your IP address and technical signals from your browser for this check. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the form usable. Cloudflare does not use these signals to profile you for advertising.
2. Analytics
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. IP addresses are truncated before storage. Analytics does not load at all unless you accept it, and you can change your mind at any time through Cookie settings. The legal basis is your consent.
3. Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested, user agent) for security and troubleshooting. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the site safely.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal data.
- We do not serve advertising on this site and we do not build advertising profiles here.
- We do not use your enquiry to send you unrelated marketing.
Who else sees the data
- Cloudflare – anti-abuse check on the contact form.
- Google – analytics, only with your consent.
- Our hosting and email providers – they store the site and deliver the enquiry to us.
Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Where that happens, transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent mechanism.
How long we keep it
- Contact enquiries: for as long as the conversation is live, and afterwards only as long as we need a record of it.
- Analytics: according to the retention period set in Google Analytics, at most 14 months.
- Server logs: short-term, as kept by the hosting provider.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or the UK you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time. Send the request through our contact page and we will deal with it. If you are not happy with how we handled it, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them here.
Changes
If we change this policy we update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the page.
